Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
sounds like someone needs the 'Cotton Hill' mod...

According to Hank, Cotton was 6' 4" (1.93 m) with his shins and was 5' 0" (1.524 m) without them.

Am I the only one who took a hour+ long test drive?

Ha ha. Same here, although I do have long legs and a short upper torso, my long arms and legs compensate for the distance I have to sit back from the wheel.

Hell no you aren't. Am I the only person who spends an hour inspecting the vehicle first and manipulating every single switch, lever, knob, handle, cap, lid, and stick on it? And the test drive includes every varying type of road and traffic condition I can access within a reasonable distance.

I'm 6'1" and have issues as well. I have no problem fitting in the truck once inside, or hitting my head... my issue is when i'm sitting straight up in the seat my field of view is very limited. I find myself slowly hunching over to see full view of road in front of me. Never noticed it until after driving truck for a few months. If i'm sitting at a red light i have to hunch over to look out the windshield because i can't see the streetlight.

Can't see the traffic light? I fixed that issue in my '40. Works great.
