Eeeeeh. I don't know about that. Stuck in neutral, yes. But "neutral" still means we're contending for the SEC title almost every year...

Serious question... how competitive do you expect MSU to be next year? You're losing a ton of seniors (15+) if I remember right... are you that deep?

We get Dak back plus our best receivers were underclassmen. We're deep enough at the O-Line that it shouldn't be a huge drop off, especially given the poor play down the stretch last year. The losses on defense should be negligible due to how much the defensive starters rotates last year. For whatever reason, Collins decided that the starters should spend half of the game on the sidelines. That helped the younger guys get some experience. Anywhere from 8-10 wins next year is likely. Mizzou, LSU, Aub, TSUN, A&M, and Arky are winnable, but I doubt we win all of them. At this point, Mullen has his players set in the way that he wants. His system is in place for State to be able to succeed as long as he's around.

That's why Meyer couldn't succeed at Florida once Mullen and Tebow left, right?

That comment being backed up by the fact that meyer won a championship with a 3rd string QB in only start number 3. What are the putting in the food in your town?

Explain his departure from Florida then. He couldn't hack it with the players and assistant coaches that he had. So he quit and went to greener pastures. When the OSU job opened up, he took it. OSU had more talent than Florida and he was able to get solid assistant coaches to help him. If Harbaugh is successful he'll find another excuse and will jet for another school.
These are a nice luxury to have but I want tougher OOC games more often. I wish we could have done a home and home with Okie State rather than just play them in Houston in 2013.

For a while, yes. Once Saban got established, Mullen left, and Tebow graduated he couldn't hack it and left UF in ruins.

Same. I would love to see teams play better OOC games. Sadly though I think the scheduling of FCS opponents is here to stay. Coaches like it too much.

I wish we had done a home and home with Okie State too or even Ole Miss. It's cool to play in the neutral site kickoff games but I'd love to see some of these teams play at Doak.

I see the benefit of playing FCS schools, but if there's an FCS or non power five school on the schedule, there should be at least one power 5 team on the schedule. I know that going forward MSU has teams set for home and homes through 2024 or something starting in 2016 I believe.

I know and we are loving every moment. This guy is good and he will help develop some of these athletes into true football players. Let's not forget that he's also a recruiting giant.....

Bring on the Home and Home series. I agree the neutral sites are cool and all, but it is nice to experience other venues and get a chance at revenge the following year.
