Comparing F1 and football is apples and oranges

I guess the NFL is about to decide that, there wouldnt be so much talk about fines if that was ok. We both have our opinion and when the ruling comes down one of us will be eating crow

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The defense was gashed, the offense largely went nowhere, and the Patriots were embarrassed Monday night in one of the most lopsided losses of the Bill Belichick-Tom Brady era.

The Chiefs drubbed the Patriots, 41-14, in a game that only raised more questions about the personnel on the Patriots’ roster as well as the coaching, and whether either is good enough to bring a perennial playoff contender back for another deep postseason run.

Brady was heard mumbling after the game "i need to be able to grip the ball better"

I've already said I'll own up and apologize if they are found to be intentionally cheating. Idk what happened, and no one else does either.

So that means they started deflating balls... Because someone may or may not have heard him say he couldnt grip them in game 4. Right...

Well, there we have it. Now, after Seattle knocks the dogsnot out of the gaytriots next weekend, they'll have a built-in excuse all ready to go: "It's not our fault we lost since we couldn't focus on game prep because the media wouldn't just let us cheat and get away with it".

As much as I loathe belicheat (a LOT), he at least came across as semi-believable in his presser today. His boy tommy--not so much. In fact if tommy told me the goddamned sky was blue right now, I'd have to go outside and look for myself rather than take his word for it. Scumbag.

No it means while you was bashing the chiefs (who don't cheat by the way) I remembered when they left shady brady and bellycheek looking through their earholes.

Belichick said he had "no knowledge of the various steps involved" in the way footballs are measured pregame and controlled to assure their integrity. The man has coached in the NFL for 40 years, so that assertion can be challenged by countless former players, assistants, referees, league officials and anyone else.
    He said it anyway.
"In my time as a coach I've never spoken to any player or staff member about football air pressure," Belichick said. "That is not a subject I have ever brought up.":rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Matthews got fined $22k for a completely legal hit on Wilson. The NFL looks out for its cover boys.

There's always the possibility that a few former coaches will say "We used to do that" or "Everyone does it", even though there is no proof of the coaches' claims. In an attempt to maintain the integrity of the NFL Roger Goodell could end the investigation prematurely, have the evidence destroyed, give the Pats a slap on the wrist, and Pats fans could continue of with their false sense of integrity in their team and legitimacy in the team's accomplishments.

To bad the NFL wants us to loose, see all the penalties against the hawks in the first half of the championship game and how practically none but the obvious ones were called on GB? The announcers even commented on that

I'm surprised players don't get fined for every sack they get.

So... What happens if the NFL says there wasn't any evidence of tampering? You assholes will go on about goodell being a liar, and Kraft paying him off, and the NFL is stupid because the patriots obviously cheated. I get it, you hate the team. But if they aren't found to have done anything wrong, why is it ok to keep saying they are cheats? If they are found to have done something wrong, have at it. But when the NFL comes out and says nothing was found, you are just going to keep trashing the team and us, over accusations never found to be true. Why aren't we shitting all over Ray Lewis? Going by your logic, he murdered 2 guys. He's a fucking murderer. Why are we not trashing Aaron Rodgers for trying to cheat by over inflating the footballs? Why aren't we talking about the buccaneers QB who paid a ball boy 7500 dollars to tamper with the footballs? Pete Carroll for what he did at usc or for breaking the rules of practicing and getting fined and losing OTA's. Sure not big deals, but all are against the rules and no one here is able to remember any of it. But if the patriots are found to not have been cheating and there is no evidence of anything, you're still going to call them cheaters, and if they win the super bowl you'll say it doesn't count. If they lose you'll say it was because they couldn't have deflated footballs. And I get it, the patriots are an easy team to hate because they consistently been the most successful in recent years. Whatever, it's just like the early 2000's yankees. But don't fucking sit there and run your piss flaps like the patriots are a horrible organization and shouldn't exist anymore, because that's wrong too.

No one thinks that the Pats shouldn't exist, and don't get me started on Ray Lewis. If he were 100% innocent he wouldn't have needed to destroy that white suit. No one ever said the 95'-00' Yankees cheated. Steroids were legal back then.

IMO the deflated balls don't create that much of an advantage, but 11 of 12 balls being underinflated is more than a coincidence, and Brady said in a radio interview from 2011 that he liked deflated balls. It's insulting and pathetic that the Pats think they need to have someone deflate their footballs, and at a minimum Brady was involved with it.

I'm still very pissed off out the way Goodell handled Spygate. It was the biggest cheating scandal in NFL history, and he did his best to cover it up.
