I hate that feeling. I remember at my old job when they laid off 11 people out of the 60 in the company.

 

Don't really know what's going on, so it's anyone's guess. There isn't anyone in my group that's a good candidate for getting the axe. We've had people in the group that just didn't fit, or didn't perform. Layoffs were just a good excuse to get rid of the dead wood. That's not the case at the moment.

 

Plus, you built a flat bed and had that published in the company newsletter. So they can't get rid of you now.

 

Keep your head down and don't make eye contact.

Hey Dennis. I know of a good shop where you can take your truck to next time it acts up.
