    Lol. Hard on the skin.
I just leave mine on the bedstand beside my flashlight and cell phone, but  to see what people recommend.

Edit- Also, FYI to ammo shoppers:
Free shipping from Sportsman's Guide through the end of today; use coupon code SH1506 @ checkout. No minimum.
Plus they're running a sale on some of their ammo.

I prefer the American-branded stuff too, like the Federal, UMC, and WWB. But, I've been shooting Aguila 124gr's through my 9mm's lately and they've been very reliable thus far.

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
    Cheap? Tula 115gr steel
    Semi-cheap? Freedom munitions remans/WWB/Federal/CCI
High end? Don't know. Peeps spend crazy money on ammo to shoot paper and steel for some reason.

Edit: Contrary to above, do please at least shoot a mag or two of your chosen self defense load as it'll likely be hollow point and function check is necessary.

Currently shooting up all my 115s and 124s to swap in 147s. Obvious reason is obvious.

Range: Winchester W Train. It's a 147 grain truncated cone subsonic that is nice and quiet through the can. Flat point would hit hard if I ever had to shoot an animal in the back yard.

    Carry: Winchester Ranger T 124 gr +P+

Thanks guys, I picked up a box of Winchester white box yesterday, going to go shooting tomorrow. Hopefully it works well. I really have no doubts but ya never know

Edit: it's a paper puncher that may get carried in the desert sometimes

For plinking, I suggest PMC or HPR ammo.
For self defense I suggest Gold Dots...

Question for you guys, should I do a short barrel shot gun or SBR my TC contender?

Build an 18" Mossberg 500 or Maverick 88 and you might not want an SBS. Light and fast aluminum frame with 5+1 capacity. Totally different beast than an 18" Rem 870. I have both.

What would you do with an SBR TC? Definitely a niche product.

what would you guys pay for a Bushmaster Patrolman, with a scope and all FDE Magpul furniture, and a FDE quad rail ? Lookin at maybe parting with mine and getting a 300blackout.

I traded a $300 gun for this current AR ;)

Ithaca would be interesting. I'd do an AR for the BLK. You can always build an upper without a gas block if you don't want semi-auto noise. But a TC gives caliber options. Always wanted to do a 44 SPL single shot or bolt gun SBR for a suppressed pig gun.

Yep. And, that's prob 100.00 more than he'll get and 300.00 more than I would pay for one to sit in my gun safe:). For some reason I bought two of those at an estate sale many moons ago and still haven't blown the dust off them.
