    Because im getting tired of the ride from the bilsteins on stock coils. On road it isn't bad at all but off road its pretty stiff, and since im in the mountains almost every weekend i'd like the ride off road to be better and soak up more of the pumps. Plus this summer I am doing about 200 miles off road trip in Idaho so I'd like a better ride for that.

    Yeah man! After talking to a lot of people about it Icon is the way to go. With UCA's I wanted uniball but didn't want to pay $700+ for them, and I talked to Phoenix (Boogyman) who works with Eddy from SOS concepts and says he loves his, plus you love yours, so thats how I decided on that.

    Hey Ryan do you think I should get the spanner wrench? I have heard it is pretty weak and breaks easy.

    Sooo weak!! Mine broke after a few twists. I honestly would find some other tool to use. I used a screw driver with the changeable tips that had the same diameter shaft as the hole you put the spanner wrench in to twist it and I put a small pipe on the end for more leverage and that worked really well for me. The weld on the end of the spanner wrench is just too weak and broke right off.

    Alright I won't get it then. To adjust them do I have to take off the UCA like you do with kings? Or can you just take the tire off and adjust it?

    Take the tire off and adjust. That's the way I did it at least. I never heard anything about taking off UCA.

    You shouldn't even need to take the tire off...just jack the front end up (floor jack's easiest obviously) to take the weight off, then adjust collar.

    Agreed, but without the spanner wrench it makes it a little more difficult to get that leverage to twist the collar. It was easier for me when I just quickly took the tire off.

    Obviously the more you crank the coilover, the harder it gets to turn, especially with 700# coils like I have...but it's not that bad.

    I actually have the spanner that my brother bought with his IVD's so it wasn't a big deal. I think they're only like $25 though so if you buy it and it's not great for you, you're not out a bunch of cash.

    Well I decided to switch it up a little, still going with desert products UCA's but I switched to King's instead of Icon's. I wanted the progressive valving for crawling instead of Icons digressive, just made more sense to me in the long run. Ordering from DSM as soon as they get back to me

    I hope so!! On your UCA's do you have zerk fittings or how do you grease them? Did you install your suspension yourself?

    pretty sure 600 is what they come with unless you specify otherwise. I did 650 even though I didn't have the extra weight at the time.
