Ok so I searched this a lot and came to the conclusion that what happened to me today was an engine misfire. I was driving along and all of a sudden I had a loss of power the truck started to shake upon acceleration and drive like crap. I look down and the engine light is flashing. So I do a quick search and find thread after thread. When it happened I pulled over and turned my truck off for about 20 sec. I then start it back up and the problem was gone.

The conditions were rainy and I have the urd intake. It never threw any codes. Could water getting to the MAF sensor have caused this? I wish I had more info and any info is appreciated. I would hate to cause more damage by continuing to drive.

I had my truck stumble and fall on its face during higher rpm in the rain with the urd intake. Great intake till that happens.

I never threw a code either...... The water hitting the resistor must cause havok on the sensor and the truck stutters like a whore in church.

It all makes since I just wanted to check with others and their experiences with the TCAI. Are you still running it?

Nope, sold the first one due to crappy seal between maf and the intake (caused a leak u could hear as a whistle).

Bought another 2yrs later hoping the defect was corrected ( brought to Gadgets attention early on). Sadly the defect remained and I sold it too.

Now running afe stage 2 si
