I'm too tall for my 2011 Tacoma double cab seats.

    I have the same problem while getting into my 15 Tacoma DC. I would need to slide the seat all the way back, tilt the steering wheel up, then jump in and adjust. im not even that tall, like 5'9" but 245 pounds lol

    lol. none of that happens to me and i’m 5”9 and like 135. steering wheel is almost tilted as high as it will go and as far out as it will go. I kinda have long legs though.

    I'm 6'6", I don't usually have much trouble getting in/ out of the 2013 Tacoma BAJA T/X dcsb. I would like to see if anyone has modified the seat brackets lower so it's easier to see out of the windshield since my eye line of sight is straight out the top of the windshield. I have tons of room as far as legroom, headroom, width but the way the roof curves down over the front edge of the windshield makes it a pain looking at traffic lights, etc...

    I remember browsing over on the FJ forum and some members had been getting those little adhesive lenses that go on the windshield for looking at traffic lights.

    Wahhhh I'm too tall and can dunk a basketball. There's no reason to adapt to a small vehicle if there are larger ones to be had.

    My point is, you would know you didn't fit so well in that test drive. Or, if you know you don't fit so well, but have done your research to know there is a fix for such a thing. Instead of buying a truck, then trying to make yourself fit better.

    It's not like a lift, or larger tires or bigger gears. It's an uncommon mod, if even possible.

    I wouldn't have bought the truck if I didn't fit in it comfortably. And when you test drive, it's no one's fault but your own if you don't take longer than 5 mins to drive it, and actually play with those nobs and buttons to make adjustments to see if it's comfortable. Just sayin.

    Welcome to the club! I'm 6'2" but have a 32" inseam and am also very long waisted. Haven't really had any issues so far with my 15 Taco, though do find that my head hits the roof in a lot of newer cars. Not sure I would want my seat any lower though.
