I have two questions. 1st, why are some of you so quick to close a thread?
And second. Valve stem caps have a logical purpose, why are more of you not worried about this? The article I read in PM proved that these Icelandic caps were far superior to any than can be purchased over the counter.
Some of you guys are so quick to hate on the new tacoma. It seems like it will be a much better option than the 2nd gen(2005-2015). Better drive train and much better options. Oh, and don't forget looks! The looks of the 2nd gens are horrid.

I've been told the Icelandic caps hold the nitrogen in the tire longer - where they get the increase in MPGs.

Sounds like you read the article in PM. Hopefully the 3.5 uses less fuel idling all night with the AC on. Camping in Texas during the summer can suck so sleeping in the truck AC after wheeling all day is actually pretty nice but uses more fuel than I want.

They're valve stem CAPS. They are for keeping dirt out and thus air in. I've never purchased caps, they are free. Valve stems are replaced when you get new tires mounted and balanced. Take the caps off check/adjust air pressure, put the caps back on.

Get with the times. Icelandic caps are far superior and do so much more than just keep dirt out. Iceland Tacomas are beyond bad ass all the way down to the valve stem caps.

... ^^^ ... Do the "Icelandic Caps" require new valve stems down to the TPMS ? Are they expensive ??

Just curious ... not familiar with them & do they have another name ... ... Is this a spoof on this old man ...

Forgot valve stems. I want to see truck tires that inflate themselves via pure ego.
