Aerobic has 2 pumps. 1 is an aerator that runs constantly. the other pumps it out like a sprinkler system. Then the chlorine tablets. Its a maintenance nightmare.
Walk away sounds cheaper. Or rent it out.

    Good morning all.

Kolunatic, you're right about the aerobic septic system being a money pit. I managed to avoid it, but my neighbor didn't. And my well is close to 500 feet also.

I live between Leander and Liberty Hill .... you anywhere nearby?

    Tex

Hey, Rob!! forgot to send good thoughts for Bear!! Glad to hear he's doing better!!

Our Chocolate Lab, Charlie is 11 and showing signs of aging...has a fatty lipoma on his side that keeps growing. I had it tested a few weeks back and it is OK - but it will need to be removed. Hate to have to put the old guy under anesthesia for it, but it's just getting too big to be comfortable for him.

    Thanks 6, I appreciate it.

I know what you mean, the anesthesia I think is the hardest, and most dangerous, part for them. Hope ya'll are able to get it taken care of with minimum complication.

    Good shooting today.

I will be putting Firestone Airbags on the Tacoma at some point. I was saving up for that and the money went into the kitchen rebuild. ;)

Has Charlie's wife looked into renting out the property or is that one big pile of poop with the county regulators?

I found my airbag kit on Craigslist NIB ... guy bought it and never got around to installing, then bought a different truck. Just thought it worth mentioning ... I've been very pleased with mine.

EDIT: And Good Morning Tom.

    Morning all:
Just checked, 6 1/2" of snow here.
Don't know if this would work for Charlies wife; reduce the price of the home and try to find a cash buyer, maybe that could eliminate some of the BS ???

The dog will get over it Mark! We all know it's for the old guys good, even though he may not know it!
    Good luck on the shooting.

Just saw that they are closing the local A-Treat soda plant that's been around for 90 yrs. :( There goes the good sarsaparilla! :(:(:(

I don't believe all the money went into the kitchen rebuild, I think there's still some left to buy the airbags! :D ;) :anonymous:

Closing the pop plant ... That's sad. :(

And I'm thinking you're right on the airbag money. ;)

Carl: I was saving my change for the airbags. I had $172 in change. ;)

I picked up a minimalist (SP) wallet for Christmas. No place for $1 bills in the wallet. I already have around $75 in ones stashed in the sock drawer. I should have the necessary funds by the spring. LOL

You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time! ;)

Just looking on flea-bay for the 04465-04070 brake pads. They are all over the place right now, (think I saw the same last year at this time), anyone know if it has something to do with dealer inventory?

    Hey there sixtys!
No kidding! My son is in that area. North side of the city.

Yaknow, after watching my mom and dad go through repeated surgeries I think anesthesia might be the most dangerous part for us humans too. I swear to the heavens that a little bit less of my mother comes back every time after she's been under. I had the same feeling with my wife's mom too.

What brand? That may be a good option for me, usually unloaded but every now and then packed to the gills with firewood and whatnot.

These guys make great soda, including sasparilla.

Let the truth be told :D. Just got this from a friend
    The Explanation.

Brains of older people are slow because they know so much. People do not decline mentally with age, it just takes them longer to recall facts because they have more information in their brains, scientists believe.. Much like a computer struggles as the hard drive gets full, so, too, do humans take longer to access information when their brains are full.

Researchers say this slowing down process is not the same as cognitive decline. The human brain works slower in old age, said Dr. Michael Ramscar, but only because we have stored more information over time. The brains of older people do not get weak. On the contrary, they simply know more.

Also, older people often go to another room to get something and when they get there, they stand there wondering what they came for. It is NOT a memory problem, it is nature's way of making older people do more exercise..

    SO THERE!!

 I actually believe the storage part to be true. I used to call my grandmother once a month after I left home. Often I asked questions about the family history and various stories she had told me growing up, sometimes she wouldn't be able to recall the exact facts or answer, but almost always, she'd have that answer on next month's call. I always knew she was just going through the files in her brain, and there were a lot of files. ;) :)
