This is true haha. The deer should be dropping now, but the elk are a few months away still. Found some good stuff today. The elk shed is a match to one I found last spring. Close to 1.5 miles from each other.

 

It's weird how the little ones hang on to them longer, while often times you see 6x6 sheds right next to each other. I think they feel lop sided shake the other one loose on the heavier racks.

 

Did you end up getting rid of your 2nd gen Gary? I saw it up on CL a while back?

 

I haven't found a side by side match for elk yet. All the elk sheds I've found have been small so far. Hoping I find the sheds from 6x6 this spring that alluded me during archery season. I can see that being why. Those big antlers definitely have some weight to them.

I have a few u joints to replace and I was wanting some opinions on which ones to get. My first thought is OEM but they are pricey. Are there any aftermarket equivalent in terms of longevity to the OEM ones? I've heard Napa has good ones and also trail gear. Any input is appreciated
