Hai guyz, I went on the rubicon!!

Only got about 1/6 of a mile before turning around, but I was on it! :anonymous:

Just the trails that split off of the tahoe entrance are really pretty to explore around on, too, though.

I think it is kind of a difference between Rock Crawl and Expo. Expo is about getting out and seeing places. Rock Crawling is about doing obstacles. So from the Expo standpoint you got out there and saw the trail. From the rock crawling stand point, you missed good obstacles.

I think of it like a videogame. Say Skyrim, lots of people have played and beat the main story. That's plenty for them and they feel they have done enough. Then there are those weirdos that live for the game and completed all the side quests as well. That's beating the game.

Did you drive the trail? Sure. Did you experience and complete everything it had to offer? No.

I agree with this, if you make it from point A to B then you completed it, it's not like the bypasses are paved by the way.

Complete and just running the trail are two different things. Nope, I didn't complete Goose but it wasn't any less fun for me to just be there and run it... Agreed it is a dumb argument since all that matters is your own damn happiness with what you do haha.

This may be old news but... Did youy see the IDBDR route?

    http://www.backcountrydiscoveryroutes.com/IDBDR

Some of it we've already done.

I would like start at Glenn Ferry and go all the way to Porthill. Without doing the Magruder/Lolo section, it seems like it could be done in 3, maybe 4 days, otherwise it's double that.

But then I couldn't claim I completed it.

    :woot:

Of course you would say this..cause when we go you'll be doing every bypass..gotta justify yourself I see...
