I need to put up some pics of my boy and Darth Vader, some Storm Troopers, Boba and Jango Fett, and a whole lot of other characters from Disney's Star Wars Weekend last year. He was in heaven...we did that Star Wars breakfast thing and some of the Jawas stole his fork - I thought he was going to die... Some of the storm troopers "confiscated" his storm trooper figure which he thought was the biggest thing. He really loved doing the Jedi Training Academy and the fight with Vader.

BTW, he is 5 and absolutely loves Star Wars. I think I have created a monster...

Love'em all. Total nerd when it comes to Star Wars. Think the first 3 are the best, pre-quills are good, but somehow go past the originals in technology when they took place earlier in the time scale. Yeah, made no sense, still like them all.

Have you guys seen the Force FX Lightsabers? They are actually pretty legit. I bought one for Star Wars nerd boyfriend for Christmas. I was pretty impressed with the quality, it's heavy and realistic, and makes all the different sounds. I got him the Anakin blue one on Amazon for less than a $100. It came with a mount too, so you could mount it on your wall or wherever.

That's awesome! Yeah I got mine during a cyber monday sale on Amazon, it was about $90 with shipping which isn't bad considering usually they are $150+

I have 3 of the original ones made by Master Replicas before the rights were sold to Hasbro. All three still in the box. I have Anakin's blue one, Luke's green one from ROTJ, and Mace Windu's purple one. Basically the three in the middle of the pic.

Look out for snakes in the grass guerrilla marketing.
Awesome thread, I saw the first one in a drive in when it first came out and have been hooked ever since, even despite the last 3 - hopefully the next iterations are better but nothing will ever touch the first trilogy :)

I'm sure everyone's seen this already but I leave it here for inspiration. It gives me A LOT of hope that it will be epic again.

Saw the original at the theatre when I was in 2nd grade. Had an original light saber. Basically a flashlight w/ a plastic tube. Still loved it. Had an original X-Wing fighter, original Luke and original C3P0.

That Boba Fett costume reminds me of my makeshift homemade Slave Leia for Halloween last year! It was freaking hard, I dunno how those cosplayers do it. Coming from someone who has never made anything and doesn't know how to sew, it was a challenge obviously. haha
