Thanks for the welcome. It's the first thing I did to my new Tacoma.

I unbolted the seats to put them underneath. I had the seats removed to shampoo the carpet so it was pretty easy. I also unsnapped the plastic door seal and put them under. Only my dog rides in the back, but so far with all of the snow we have, I just wipe it out at the end of the day (none of the snow that melts gets to the carpet).

Thats neat. I found 2 of those lights in my stash and I'll probably start messing with them over the week. Turns out they take 194w bulbs too and I already have some ones sitting around to mess with as well.

You gotta cover that hole in the middle where the seat belt buckles are hanging.

Harbor Freight? If you actually use it, it'll fall apart in about 4 minutes. I bought one because it was 5$ and said "what the hell" too. Where the screws in the handle go into are just plastic standoffs and they break almost instantly. I had to drill all that junk out once the handle broke on mine and run 2 nuts/bolts through the handle to keep together.

Good to know, thanks. I'm not one to leave things alone anyway so maybe I'll have a look and mod it. :D I really only wanted it for the saw side of the blade which is actually sharp compared to the cutting side.

I made a post about this in 2nd gen but thought it would fit here as it is cheap. Tailgate security using a piece of pvc pipe I had laying around. Cut to size, beveled the edges and painted with bedliner paint which I also had. You just unbolt the hinge, slip the pipe over it and bolt it back together.

You unbolt the part attached to the truck every time you want to take the tail gate off
