    It depends on how much power the lights are pulling. The thing about aircraft wire is most of it is smaller than 18ga. Ac-130w crew chief right here.lol

    Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
    Used to be a 135 electrician. Currently a kc-46 operational tester. So I am a bit rusty on my wiring and electrical math.

    That's the thing. I am torn on wiring them up. I think I might split them 3/3 with what I have. Throw a 10-15a fuse in the holders. I might up the wiring sizes to 12-14g?

    Right now I have done cheap 12" halogens on one. A round led pod on the other. Looking for pods for the back right now and there are one or two other things I'll end up adding

    18ga would do but I'd go with 16ga. LEDs don't draw a lot of power so there is no need for 10-12ga if there just pods or round lights

    Anybody got a pushbutton switch they use that would work for my underhood lights - open the hood and the lights come on? I got a kit from another TW member that had LED lights. Nice lights, but they didn't stick well. Replaced the lights with two KC cyclone lights - way bright. Anyway, everything works great except the little cool switch that made the lights turn on when you open the hood. It's works just like a door jam switch but it has a couple of nuts on it so you can adjust the height.

    I wonder whose kit you ordered..
    The switch is called a pin switch which cancels the ground when the hood is closed.

    I used to be able to get those when I worked on planes... But I am currently in a non-flight line position and have no access.
