Yeah. Driving style comes in to play in some cases. 2 of mine went on pavement under normal daily driving. The 1st one grenaded while I was driving along at 55mph when the vehicle was bone stock with 12K miles on it. I was still babying it then and hadn't been offroad.

The 2nd one never broke but starting howling after about 1500 miles of just daily driving. I blame a bad install personally. I think the warranty mechanic fucked up the crush sleeve... When I pulled the third it did have a peice missing from the ring gear but nothing too serious. I said fuck it and put 4.88's in installed by ECGS.

2 years and about 20K miles later it started knocking bad. I hadn't been wheeling for a few months and we drove 200 miles of freeway to the in-laws for Christmas. I then drove about 30 miles to the next town over to meet with IdahoLandHo. We stopped and had lunch at a fast food place and left to go do some wheeling. It started knocking about 10 miles after leaving the fast food place... I ended up driving it the 200 miles home doing 55mph on the interstate and it made it. Pulled the third and 3 teeth were missing on the ring gear.

If I had to guess I'd bet I damaged those 3 teeth at some point in the whoops when my rear end bucked but I find it crazy it survived for months before it finally fell apart.

Could only get about three degrees on each side. Just replaced LCA tabs on one aide with the TC tabs and I am able to get better camber.

Couldn't do the other side today because the damn 7" long shock bolt AP uses was seized in the control arm. Couldn't drill it out because I don't have a replacement on hand yet.

Torched it, PB blasted it, impact wrench, and it wouldn't budge.

That's a generic bolt that can be purchased at polyperformance or kartek. I always coat mine in antiseize whenever it's out. I've never had any issues with it maybe because I'm in SoCal where the weather is always dry.

After recently installing new spindles and the TC alignment tabs gussets I was able to get the alignment numbers I have now. Before that I could not get castor past 1.5° on the drivers side. Combination of bent spindles and flared out tabs.

Trying to order some spindle gussets, upper control arm gussets, steering rack bushings, and needed parts to convert my Camburg uppers to heims (spacers, heims, bungs). Any specific vendor you guys would suggest? I sent a PM to SDHQ and Downsouth already and waiting on their answer.

This is a stupid question but im only asking because ive done it before...are you sure youre loosening the right side of the bolt for your lca because the one end isnt just a nut. I know its obvious but I did that when I started rushing through the truck at one point when I was doing new bushings

Looks awesome! Now I need 35s

Damn chris, truck looks worlds different then when I saw it in your shop, good work!

I know I've seen them before, but does anyone know if TRD Beadlocks will fit on Camburg LT with spindle gussets and 35's? thinking I'll have to run some 3/4" spacers to prevent any rubbing, but who knows!
