My plan is to do the doors as I install new speakers. I may do the floor and possibly the back wall when it gets nice out (in the summer) depending on the results I get doing the doors.

Back wall/rear seat was what I focused on first, as I was building my box and amp racks first.

This is all RaamMat, and then I went over that with a layer of ensolite. I'll do tht on my doors as well.

One thing to keep in mind - deadener controls vibration and resonance, but is not a noise blocker - if youre looking to block road noise, you need some form of sound control layer too. Ensolite, or some other brand of blocker like mass loaded vinyl and closed cell foam, thin. Check out www.sounddeadenershowdown.com - he explains a lot of the theory and steps needed, and why he came up with his own materials and their application.

The back wall, in an access cab, is where most of the noise originates...

How thick is the ensolite, and how heavy is it?

It's a foam. Weighs next to nothing. I think I have enough to cover 2 tacoma's of it right now and I bet it doesn't weigh more than 5lbs.

Now sound deadener, that shit adds up in weight fast. I got 60lbs in my truck, and over 100lbs in my Civic.
