    Not that often, sometimes we get the prince. but i costs a lot of money to have them come because they usually get taken for a tour so the government re-paves the roads and make everything that they are going to see really nice. But the last time i saw the queen was about 7 years ago

    Last time I was in Canada, 1989 everything looked really nice. The subway in Edmonton was on the honour system for payment.

    Except after sporting events or concerts they have Transit Nazi's by the gates.

    They do have Transit cops down there, but I have never been asked for proof of purchase.

    Plus now as a University student I get free LRT and Bus rides. This is good since parking at the university is about $10 a day.

    In Quebec, they have a language law called Bill 101. It states that all signs must have be in French. If the sign has both French and English, the french words must be at least twice the size as the english words. They actually have language police checking the size of fonts on signs. :eek:
