I have a smaller LP generator, it's great. No gas tank so it's lightweight and runs off the same LP tanks that the grille uses so I always have a few on hand. LP burns really clean also so the carbs don't get gummed up from the ethanol they're putting in gas now. If it's just an emergency use generator, I would suggest looking at LP.

Thanks Mike that's a great idea. I hate dealing with gas, especially with all the damn ethanol

Apparently MA just issued a travel ban for tomorrow.
If I need something from the grocery store I think that qualifies me as essential personnel....

Yeah I drive though MA anyways and play dumb since I'm from RI. As of 8pm, the RI governor is urging people to stay off of the roads. I wonder if my work day will be cut short. Work tomorrow is supposedly cancelled already. And I have Thursday and Friday off. 2 day work week FTW!

Gotta love the nanny state... Thank god the gubment is there to tell me not to drive, otherwise I might accidentally hurt myself and be forced to sue the state for allowing me to travel in this dangerous weather.

I have to show up tomorrow, which is pointless because we've been telling people all day that we're not doing deliveries tomorrow, the warehouses won't be open for pick ups, and none of the transfer trucks are moving between warehouses. And almost everyone we've talked to has said that they're planning on being closed too.
Plus we have a website that accounts can order from if they are open, but the home office wants us open to field calls and questions. Going to be a super busy morning, and then it'll be dead.

That is what I was saying. I didn't realize we lived in Germany. I tried pushing back about taking the day off and I was told nope everyone is off except the calls guys. They got hotel rooms for them

I hear, it's down right stupid. People should be able to use their own judgement whether or not they should be driving, not relying on the state to hold their hand and tell them. If we get 3' of snow, I'm not coming to work anyways but they're too quick to declare the police state and shut everything down in my opinion.

I realize that, and I say fuck 'em, let them go on the roads, crack up their cars and learn their lesson the hard way.

But... but... but... I have a rear wheel drive sports car, and unless you tell me there's a driving ban, I'm going to act surprised when I get stuck in a ditch....

Last time they lifted the driving ban, it seemed like everyone with a Mustang or 350Z decided to go out for a drive, and get stuck.

That's the safest place for them, stuck in a ditch.
