Some uninsured smelly pirate hooker made an illegal left turn in front of me. Body shop estimated over $20k to repair due to bent frame and other destroyed stuff.

You might want to talk to the insurance company and find out if they will let you buy it back after they total it. Even with the frame bent it could make a very good trail machine for a little time and money to get it back up and running. Then you don't have to worry about killing your DD.

How's the ride now? Did you install these to level the truck?

One of the local guys on here asked about buying it for that same reason. They said the buyback would be somewhere in the $15,000 range, but didn't have an exact number.

On a side note, I have a bunch of Tacoma stuff that is in excellent condition for sale. See my post at the top of this page...

Spoiler alert: there's a MGM 2012-2015 grill in there among the other things.

I just pulled the plug on the gray Sema Pros, will have them in a day or two. They are 17" x 7" 4mm offset versus the stock 16" on it now, believe thats 30mm? I am running at about 2" lift front and rear with a Icon set-up. So tire size options? 265/70/17, 275/70/17 or 285/70/17. I do not want to trim any metal, keeping ride quality, noise and mpg in mind I will do with an all terrain.

    Input appreciated!!

So my winter setup is stock OR wheels and I was thinking once I lose my garage space when the (eventual) family hauler shows up, I'll get a cap for the truck to deal with the snow.

I also want about 1.75-2" of lift (right now) and seeing your truck makes me realize that's exactly what I want for my winter setup.

    Looks great!

Blah, worded it wrong. I meant I'll have the cap for winter, then back to the light bar in the summer. That light bar will have to be pried from my cold, dead hands!

I figured that's what you intended to do, I just wanted to see if you'd slip up and sell it. Haha

Thanks Iven. It's one of those things that falls in the "shit happens" category. It certainly could've been a lot worse. On a side note, your bracket is going to a new home this weekend.
