Hey everyone I have my local Toyota dealership getting me some prices on a sport hood and the 2012 + sport mirrors for my truck . Does anyone have any idea how much it will cost? I know a guy down there and he has gotten me things a little cheaper than going through the dealership itself. Is there anything I should ask about like maybe them taking my old hood and giving me some money on it or maybe just a discount or something ? The hood is in perfect shape. Is there a cheaper way to do the mirrors instead of just getting the 12 plus mirrors ? I have seen some people use the 2010 4 runner mirrors ,but i don't remember how that turned out.

That bad? I actually am a manager at a salvage yard haha. I have never seen a 2 generation Tacoma come in there. Do you have an idea on price if it is absurd then i won't do it obviously but i don't really have too many options.:(

Toyota parts barn has the bare hood with scoop at $376. Painting would probably be around $400 depending on where you get it done. Don't know if you can salvage other necessities from your current hood. They have the mirrors as well.

I got a 2014 hoof for $132.00 shipped, I then had a guy paint it for 150. The part I felt was expencive was the insert. That was $150 without paint.

How did the insert turn out ? I have thought about doing it but i had an employee install an after market scoop to his truck and it turned out good but after a little while the hood around the scoop started to crack.

This is how it lined up. I traded in my truck shortly after the conversion but everything looked great.

Price of a new hood w/scoop from the dealer?... I don't think I can even count that high . Like others said, go to a salvage yard.
