Alright, we'll be having a mod/wrench day on Saturday October 10th for anyone in the area who:
    A) Needs some work done on their Tacoma
    B) Wants to help do work on Tacomas
    C) Wants to hang out and watch people work on Tacomas

It's going to be at my place around noon. Just PM me for directions. We should have all the tools we'll need for the work already planned. If you plan on coming, let me know what work you need done before hand so we can make sure we've got everything we need.

You can count me in. I will be doing some type of front suspension mod, not sure if it will be Redraiders old spacers on the cheap, or some 5100's if I can squeeeze it. Also D-ring mod if I do not have it done already.

    D-Rings, oil change, and ???

I have all the stuff to do an oil change, but I may just do it there so I can show others how I do it (which may or may not be the way they should do it). As for the D-Rings, I definitely need help cutting up my bed mat. That thing is THICK!!!

I might wait until then to do my LED bed lights.
I might do some other electronic modifications (interior lights, cupholder stuff)
I might do brake pads (just because no one has ever showed me how).

Should be good for any of the above

If you're picking up pads, I highly recommend ceramic over metallic.

Good to know. I don't think they need to be replaced, but this would be a great opportunity to learn how to do it.

No, I think redraider is going to "borrow" one from an auto parts store. If you have one though, we could use it.

I can "rent" one from Napa for just a deposite & bring it so we have a spare.

Might be a good idea, since we'll probably be doing both suspensions at the same time.

The OME springs are heavier than the stock ones. I really didn't have any problems using mine. Definitely need to know what you're doing though, and keep that crap pointed in a save direction at all times. ;)

Good suggestion. I don't think we'll have trouble finding a shop open. The meet is on Saturday now.
