What the actual fuck. I don't understand why the guy is (a) so pissed off and sensitive and (b) why this is all happening over a few posts regarding headlight tint and how it works and (c) why everybody thinks his truck is a pile. So, excuse me for missing the whole story by only reading 10 posts in this thread.

Tyler, not sure what your story is or what your history is here, but I certainly didn't say anything negative about your truck or about you. I don't give a damn what you do to your truck, it's yours - do what you like to it, paint it yellow for all I care. I just pointed out that your 65% film is decreasing your headlight output by 35% because that's what tint does by design and concept.

That said, fucking chill out. You need to relax, have thicker skin, give less shits about what people say or think especially on the internet, and enjoy yourself a little more. This forum is great, but you only get into it what you give. If you want to give nothing except over sensitivity and name calling rage, that's all you'll get back from others. Try lightening up, post however you want, but be respectful and capable (maybe even willing) to learn something when someone corrects your wrong information. You don't have to say thank you, but you don't have to call them cocksuckers.

If you think I have a high horse or some huge TW ego, let me remind you I have a DCSB Prerunner with a 4 banger and an auto. You think I get respect?!

I'm still confused. I thought it was 35% tint meaning it blocked 65% of the light?

You're correct.

Except his tint is 65%, so you have it backwards. Or I do. Anyway, whatever the tint percentage is, that's how much light it blocks.
