Im with ya, but I think its more along the lines of finding someone who can make then near you. I'd love one but no way in hell am I trusting myself to do one. Good luck with your search.

your not going to find one unless a member from the boards has made it then is selling it...the china companies have not made them yet..

how much are you willing to drop on the grille? if the price is right, i just try it out for you! (and i currently have an extra grille!!)

If it came painted black, be willing to drop about $400 on it. I have seen a few members making them themselves but, nothing on ebay.

well the grill i have is the chrome one.

if you really that interested, i could possibly separate the black plastic from the chrome surround and send you that? then all you would have to do is find a black trim piece, as i've heard the chrome sucks to be painted on and doesnt last. i would require the money upfront though, as to many people have gotten screwed in projects like this as the buyer all of a sudden changes his mind..

its on very rare occasion but sometimes someone who made an extra satoshi (RGM) will sell it on ebay...

best bet is to find someone near you who has already have 1st hand experience with the satoshi mod...

my buddy kevin lives up near you...too bad you weren't closer to vegas...I would gladly help you out...satoshi's are a lot of work but extremely worth it in the end...

I'll make you one for $200 if you supply all the supplies... grill, fiberglass kit, bondo, paint, sand paper... you'll have to buy your own mesh, but I could attach clips for zip ties

Reznor is a guy on here that makes em. I hear he does a clean job- its the guy I am using to build mine. He can customize em any way you want. You send him yours on Friday and I think he gets it back to you by monday. Search him.

Click here for his home page on here- you can search from there: Reznor88

EDIT:Ah bummer, I was just reading what I linked to, and it looks like he quit making them? oops- sorry we missed the boat!

Buy a new color matched grille from the dealer, I think they are a couple hundred tops- chop it up and try the satoshi slowly. That way if you botch it- ya still got a good one on your truck. Thats what I am doing at least...

The going rate for everyone I talked to is your old grille and $200 plus shipping gets it done. Unless you want some weird kinda mesh and that does not include painting it or whatever grille emblem you want.

Of course if its worth it to you then its worth it. Im doing my own with an extra grille I have but its nice to see if I botch it then there is someone on here that can do it for ya :)

I have found a good mesh supplier and i will be making them soon if anyone is interested. Not sure on price at the moment but i am a certified automotive painter. Not in the business anymore but still have connections on paint and what not so if desired i could also paint grills to match.

Just a thought if anyone is interested, let me know.
