Sorry to hear about Jack... Quincy looks like a great dog. It's amazing how depressed they get when they loose their buddy. Goes for us too, shitty day.
Glad to see Lucy is happy again!

Hey guys, long shot here, but my wife and I have been fostering Rowdy for about a year. We had intentions to keep her, but she does not get along with my shorthair. We had just been keeping them separate, but now we are moving and wont be able to do that anymore. Looking for a new home for her. 3yo yellow lab female. Knows basic commands, she's a pretty hyper dog. Would not recommend her with another dominant natured dog or anywhere she wouldn't have a little room to run.

She's a beauty. Have you tried contacting the local lab rescue? Or maybe the Golden Gate Retriever Club's rescue group?

Good luck finding Rowdy a home.

The only local place to us right now is a kill shelter. We're not going to do that. We tried a place in Salt Lake but it seems they went under. We're moving to Boise so I've been looking around up there.

She sure does fit her name too. She's a handful.

The thing I am having a hard time with is when I tell people that we are trying to rehome her they shut down. Like we're just trying to dump this dog because we didn't know what we were getting into. We took her in about a year ago so she wouldn't go to the pound when we already had two dogs. We dumped a ton of money into her getting her fixed and up to date on shots and healthy again. Its just frustrating.

Good luck!!! Make a thread on TW - you might be able to find her a home. Not everyone surfs this thread, but a separate one, might get some traffic. Someone has to be looking for a hiking buddy

Shhhh no one is supposed to know :) there is a little parking lot to right before you completely enter the park. That's where we were. Once I took some photos, let her off leash to play for a bit. There are some good places to hang out by anderson shore too after you get across the bridge and past the picnic area. Bet your lab would have a blast playing fetch in the water!!
