    Update.
This is actually how deep it is now.

Once they plowed up a heater bank the snow all has been drifting in behind it. I just went to start my truck and the snow was crotch-deep. They're letting us leave early today, but I'm going to have to pull that Honda out with a strap, haha!

I don't think there will be many if any outages. The snow is so light and fluffy it's not freezing to trees, powerlines, etc...

I've only done one snowblowing run so far at 0645. I'll do another later this afternoon. It's so light the snowblower has no trouble chewing through 18" at a time.

I'm being terribly lazy and doing stuff inside all day. I'll deal with the snow once it's done. The Tacoma's in the garage and the wife doesn't have work tomorrow, so I'll hit the driveway first thing, run over to my Mom's and do hers and then head to work.

I would rather just deal with all the snow at once than try and keep up with it it.

According to the local news we've got 20 inches here so far, and it's still snowing so hard that I can't see my mailbox. I plowed the driveway when I got home (no time like the present, since the plow truck was already warmed up) and it was pretty light, but there was still enough of it that it was lugging the truck down by the time I got to the opposite end of the driveway. The heater bank didn't even slow me down, though.

Even though it hasn't stopped snowing, doesn't look like much of anything has accumulated in the last 4 hours over here.

I just went out for round two of the clean up. It was over the top of my snowblower on the first clean up this am. The second was probably a third to half way up. My snow blower died during this one but at least it made it thru the first. It looks like a fuel issue. If I prime it it starts and dies so I am going to go pull the carb now.
