Hey everyone! I'm new to the Tacoma forums.. Heck I'm new to the Toyota family. Just sold the ol 2003 ford ranger and I just bought a 2015 Tacoma PreRunner and I love it so far. However, I have been trying to find the right toolbox for this truck. Anyone have any suggestions? Truck has a 5ft bed with a bed liner. Thanks everyone for the help in advance.

I live near a Lowes store, so I bought this one:

    Kobalt 61-1/2-in x 12-in x 13-in Silver Aluminum Mid-Size Truck Tool Box

    Item #: 67697 | Model #: 73014036

It is a UWS that has a Kobalt tag on it, it set me back 150 bucks. It works great and doesn't take up too much room in my bed.

    I had it Line-X'd for 80 bucks.

230 bucks for a kickass toolbox that fits my truck.

Then I spent 125 bucks and got an official toyota bedmat off of Amazon with free PRIME Shipping.

Then I spent 15 bucks on toolbox clamps that hold my toolbox onto my cargo rails so I didn't have to drill into my truck to attach my toolbox.

yeah I called UWS earlier today and they said they do not have a box that fits the 2015 yet. So id hate to buy a box that doesn't fit then have to send it back. He said the boxes they have fit the 2014. Are the bed dimensions for a 5ft bed the same on a 2015 as a 2014? If so then I should be fine with what they have.

It just takes some time for vendor data to get updated so they know it'll fit. I had the same problem when I first got my 2014 in 2013.

    Same truck, through and through.

The search function on most forums can be a bit of a pain to navigate effectively. I have had better luck using Google and including my search terms and then the forum name.

What clamps did you buy to attach to the cargo rails?

Here's my OEM toolbox. They are hard to find, just happened to stumble across it on Craigslist. I like it because you push the lock to open, same as a Weather Guard. Only downside is that it blocks a few inches of the back glass.
