I like it, but I couldn't justify the $500. I just bought a universal with an offset inlet and dumped right after the muffler. Less than $90 for the muffler and $15 for a 2.5" tube that I sleeved over the factory exhaust where I cut, and $20 for the turndown (just used a mandrel bent 90 elbow.

Mine came with headers and gutted cats into a 40 series cutoff at the back of muffler and if you stomp it it get really raspy and I don't like that

Amazon was running some sort of performance car parts promotion over the holidays and certain items were 25% off. I picked up the Magnaflow cat-back kit for about $380. No idea if the promotion is still running.

Gutted cats and headers are going to be on the raspy side no matter what you end up with unless you add a resonator. The magnaflow doesn't have the mind numbing drone that the Flowmaster has though.

Ahh I figured it was because of the muffler being cut and the back with no pipe coming out.

Strait pipe off the back of the muffler probably adds additional drone/echo and sound from bouncing around the underside of the bed. A turndown may help, but with gutted cats you're going to get all the engine noise with no filter.

Try an aero turbine. I have headers straight to an aero turbine under the cab and it's not raspy. It's loud as shit but sounds low and rumbly.

I'll probably get the catback system some day. Has it's own unique sound.

I only spent $80 on my 14 and getting it welded with a turn down, but just a little too much noise for me some days.

I want the cat back as well but I have to buy tires first. I drive on the highway to college a lot and the roaring drone gets old I think I'm gonna try a magnaflow and dump it after the axle

Never heard it, so I have no feedback. Only have experience with Magnaflow and Flowmaster.

My 14" Magnaflow sounds a little raspy to me. Kinda wish I would have waited on an 18".

I really want these wheels from OMF but they are 16s and the lack of tire options for 37s sucks, just thinking of the future

Well, that was much hard than I expected. Apparently the Hulk installed the previous fan clutch. I had to use a belt strap propped up against the power steering pulley to hold the fan pulley and then use vice grips on each nut to get them off. What a PITA. Then I had to go get new nuts and re install everything. I'm pretty sure my fan clutch was way too stiff. Hopefully my truck is quieter now and does't sound like a school bus coming down the street.

Also replaced my dynamic tensioner for the supercharger with a new one from TRD.

I am hoping these two new parts will get rid of the belt squeal I had at 3500-4000 RPMs. The S/C belt has proper tension now and the fan clutch isn't holding back.

Just go with 17's, plenty of tire options as that's the wheels size a lot of larger tires are going to. I have 39.5" iroks and plan on building some 17" diy beadlocks for them when my other rig sells
