I got out of my driveway without snow blowing. I only did around the truck so I could clean it off. Uphill, deep, and icy. 4lo, center diff locked, and lots of skinny pedal

    Cool
    Yep
I had a mishap as well. Using the machine then all of a sudden it stops. Key is gone. Nowhere to be found. Luckily its just a plastic key to prevent the piece from touching. Cut a piece of plastic and stuck it in. Up and running again. Works great Billy. Thanks

Almost forgot to tell this story but I was driving to my parents house the other day and I see a Tacoma broken down with his hazard lights at the end of a off ramp. It was a bad spot. So I turn around and go back to see if I could help. I couldn't. I didn't have the tools. They came off the off ramp and touched the brakes and the rear axle moved back and was touching the fender flare. The guy says they just had the frame replaced, obviously they didn't tighten it enough. He then says "glad this didn't happen in Maine". He had just got off the highway from traveling home from Maine! I told him he should be happy it didn't happen when he was traveling down the highway at 70 mph!!! Pic to come

Just had to go rescue my screaming cat from under my plow truck.
Let him out because he insisted, and he was displeased with the 6+ inches that have fallen since I plowed, plus the blowing and drifting snow and the cold temperatures. So instead he hunkered down under the truck and started crying instead. I couldn't hear him until the dog started whining at the door and I opened it to let her out. Tried calling him in but no luck; he just hid under the cab and kept screaming until I went and fished him out.
    Damn animals drive you crazy.

On a side note, we've got to have over 2 feet here now. It was easily six inches over the tops of my rubber farm boots.

I can't even open the back door at work. We have drifts taller than me, and though that's not saying much, that's still like over 5'

Quickest way to get the cat out from under the truck, start it up

Just got into work a little while ago. The roads are fine for the most part. Cambridge did a shit job with theirs but everything else was down to just wet pavement.

Ended up with a flat on the old Dodge this morning. I bashed the heater bank out of the way this morning and then jacked it up and popped the wheel off. Dropped it off at the local shop and I'll pick it up after work and finish the job.
I've got to have at least 2 1/2 feet, though. Crazy.

That sucks, at least it made it through the storm though. Otherwise, you would have been freezing your ass off on your open cab tractor! I tell you what though, I wish I had a skidsteer or tractor with a bucket to move some of this snow around. I threw the snow back as far as I could but the banks are huge.

Shrug. I've got an insulated jumpsuit that I wear when I'm doing that stuff, lol. But the plow's a lot faster and the heated cab is nice. I'll be on the tractor this weekend, though. The Dodge shoves snow like nobody's business, but it doesn't stack it nearly as well as the tractor. I've got snowbanks that are six feet high, but they're 20 feet long. With the tractor I can stack them up so that they're 12 or 15 feet high and shorten them up a bit. Plus I can use the bucket to knock down the banks at the end of the driveway.

Edit: Official count from the local news station is 27 inches here.

Haha how did moose like the snow? I had to snowblow a bunch of paths around the yard for Chara since it was halfway up his chest in the low spots and almost at the top off his back in the drifts.
