Just some venting here, feel free to chime in with your dealership experiences.

Had some wobble and vibrations, do a little bit of an inspection, UCA has some play in it (total chaos). Order some bushings from the factory (they threw in a military discount for me, good guys). I got them in the mail when I was out of town. Soon as I got back though time to throw em in. That did not go as planned. Three days I spent trying to get the UCA pivot bolt out. It wouldn't budge. No matter what I did.

My local 4x4 shop doesn't have towing capabilities and was really far away so I didn't want to have that tow fee anyways. But guess who can tow, my local Toyota Stealership. Now my truck is there after a hefty tow fee, and 370 good ol merican dollars, to remove a bolt, and they wont even put my bushings in while the UCA is off because they are aftermarket parts.

I'm just super frustrated, I am going to call again today and see if they will let me throw the bushings in while the UCA is off, otherwise once they replace the bolt, put it all back together, I'll just end up taking it apart and putting the bushings in. And ill be damned if this doesn't stop the vibration. Plus I will be driving to NY in a couple of weeks.

Sorry to hear that, the dealership in my town does a lot of aftermarket work. Hell they even throw $10,000 worth of lift, tires and accessories on brand new trucks and then show case them at the front of the lot.

I recommend the Jones (formerly known as Aero) turbine 2525xl. The xl version is much quieter and nicer sounding and has great flow through. Sounds nice and clean and doesnt have much drone. All aftermarket mufflers will have some drone.

Careful, I have that exact set up and it drones like crazy at highway speeds. I too will try a vibrant resonator and see what happens, but at this point I'm on the lookout for a stock exhaust as well, think I'd be just as happy listening to only the humm of the tires.:)

Installed an AT 2525XL muffler yesterday and changed up my headlights a little bit.

Do you have the 2525 or the 2525xl? Mine isnt that bad at all, I did cut the tip off my of stock exhaust so the tip is a smaller 2.25" outlet. If you have a slant cut non rolled tip thats 3" or over this might cause it.

I don't really have a way to post videos right now but this link has a lot of videos from the inside and outside of the truck. It is a TW members YouTube channel and is what I used to make my decision.

I have the xl, but didn't know about the outlet. Been thinking about dumping over the axle. Currently have a 3.5 round rolled tip. Will gladly cut that off if that will get rid of the drone.

dumping after the axle will create more drone, try getting a tip that has a smaller outlet.

I had tried this tip, but it was almost impossible to get on because the inlet was too small. It makes the exhaust quieter. http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B008KWIGH4?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

Even though it said it was a 3" outlet it was actually about the 2.25" because of how thick it was.

What do you think about just cutting off the tip leaving the 2.25 original exhaust diameter? Same result? I could care less if it has a shiny tip or not.

That's what I currently have and it will reduce the drone a bit, might not be enough for what you're looking for. You may be better off getting a resonated tip. You could always start with cutting off your tip and seeing how it sounds.

Nice touch with the V-band clamps instead of using the leak prone u-bolt clamps
