I love marker bindings, I like the Rossi FKS as well. I've broken a lot of Salomon garbage and stopped buying them.

The kingpins are really sick and would recommend those for an AT setup. I bought these a few years ago and they are nice bindings but heavy for long distances. I wanted the performance for downhill though. I get a hookup so they were cheap!

I had a good friend who just blew markers to pieces every season and eventually got hurt, watching that happen and knowing I put more stress on my equipment kept me away. I stick with the fischer tyrolias(rc17) and a pair of rossis that are slipping my mind right now.

The old marker m18 or m19 etc were garbage. They had the seperated wings on the toe and were crap. I used to pre release all the time in salomons too. Never felt comfortable ripping down something with them.

i haven't been skiing in over a week... That's almost unheard of seeing how I live about 10 min from wachusett... But between the snow at my house, work and my parents summer house on the cape I'm friggan beat... On a good note I was able to snipe a used Gopro 4 of eBay for a very good price...

Sorry to rub it in, but skied tues/wed this week. Best tree skiing I can remember. Ever. Comfortable temps, blue skies and fresh snow are as good as it gets on the East coast.

looking to head up to okemo next weekend (2/20-2/22)

anyone have any cheap lodging ideas? most of the stuff i'm finding is ski in/out for $1k a weekend or a bed and breakfast that looks like crap for $400 a weekend.

maybe set up the rooftop tent in the main base area lol...

Still hurts to walk. So so frustrating... Thanks for asking!
I'm just going to take it easy... Sunday River should be sick!!

Loon was incredible last weekend, saturday the cold temps kept people away, and sunday waking up to 10 inches was a plus. Heading up to sunday river this weekend. I am sure its going to be perfect conditions. Supposed to warm up a little bit too:)

Got back last night, good snow coverage but no fresh snow.Grooming was excellent in the morning and some sun Wednesday was a welcome.Stayed at the Grand Jordan at the far end of the area, friendly staff and cool outdoor hot tubs and pool but no night live.lol

It must be a awesome place on powder days.
