    Everyone's giving you recommendations.

But you haven't told us WHERE you're rubbing.

Depending on where you're rubbing (at the back of the wheel at the "cab mount" ?) wheel spacers could make the problem WORSE not better!

If you're rubbing on the frame itself (not the "cab mount" which is a frame attachment arm to which the cab body is bolted)
...and you're rubbing in front of the wheel
...and you're rubbing on the driver side at full RIGHT wheel lock
... and you're rubbing on the passenger side at full LEFT wheel lock

well then, you're rubbing the same place I am. :D

I've lifted, offsetted, chopped, melted, UCA'ed, re-aligned, clearanced, and bumpered. And I STILL rub.

Hit it with Krylon when you detail it, baby.

    Two cents, adjusted for inflation.

    But you're a 2nd gen, moose!

I'm a 1st gen and have the rubbing you describe behind the wheel on the frame, not the cab mount.
... rubbing on driver side at full LEFT lock
... rubbing on passenger side at full RIGHT lock

tiny bit of rubbing on the rear of the wheel well plastic when the suspension is compressed.

5100's all around, 2.75 inch lift, polyurethane body mounts, gibson exhaust, variation of the deckplate mod, intake resonators removed 285-75-16 goodyear AT
3/4 Bora spacers will solve the frame rub issue, at least they did on mine with 285-75-16's. I removed the front mudflaps to get rid of that rubbing but I have about a 2.75 inch lift. You may also need to trim the front bumper a bit, mine was close so I did that at least til I can build a new tube bumper. The Tacoma suspension doesn't really compress that much so if you are getting rubbing at full compression then you may need to look at redoing your suspension, but I would recommend at least a moderate lift.

Haha, not that extreme. I thought I mentioned where it's rubbing, but maybe I just meant to. Anyway, as far as I can tell, it's just rubbing on the frame behind the suspension (both tires) and only at full lock.

Does anyone know if I can just bolt on the 3/4" wheel spacers without trimming down the stock lugs? Or should I just play it safe and get 1" spacers?

Hello all new member new owner

Sorry to piggyback on this post but i'm having the same issue.
I am running LT265/75R-16 General Grabber AT 2 E on stock wheels of my 01 Taco
I have 1.25" spacers and am getting much rub
I am not able to afford a lift at the moment but am curious about trimming.
I was curious if there were any visual examples or tutorials on how to go about trimming to reduce rub. Thanks
