    You can. But I think you need an edge that others can't or don't see. Plus you need consistent output. And a scooter to get around the track.

    Some amount of luck wouldn't hurt either ;)

    I know I can do it, and I know I can deliver high quality images. My issue. is getting to events to cover them

    lol I did about of 11 miles of walking that weekend. Most of the shooters had golf carts available to them.

    I'd honestly love to get into more freelance work

    Yeah. That's the hard part. Most of the good guys are shooting for someone. But you have to get to a place where you can show a portfolio good enough to get you in the door.
