Shit I am. I seen it a couple times now. My brothers classmate bought it. Was posting on Instagram. It was on the lot at Kamaaina motors for a couple months tho, so good to see it back on the road

i think he might have brought your truck to school a couple times to bring his tool box or pick it up or something. not to sure tho it was a while ago. lol

 

Half the reason I don't want to sell the truck is because I know some high school little shit's parents'll buy it for him, and he'll fuck it up doing burnouts in the parking lot lol

 

Yep hates when he borrowed it. But that truck was mostly paid for by my parents, I just had to buy the mods lol. Spoiled. I admit.

anybody ever had issues with their hids shutting off? it usually happens to mine when the road is really wet. well thats what seems to be happening.

 

Never really had issues, except with a shorted ballast from ebay. What brand HIDs?

 

check your relay.
water got into mine and really fucked it up; before it flat out died, I'd had problems with it sending power to both lights and had to do the "flick and pray" method to get em to work

 

alright sounds good. i kinda took the whole wiring kit apart last night and i couldn't really find anything wrong. but its been fine all day today. i just don't want it to die out half way home to honokaa one night and then with my luck catch a ticket! thanks kona!

 

i got the bi-xenon hids. from xenonhid.com.. its the sun series.

 

Mine went out on me while going down double lanes kona side, in the pouring rain, at night

Looks like they're the same as the Opt7 brand I've recently been buying on Amazon and eBay. They just have different labeling/branding. I've had no problems with these ones so far. The opt7 are actually a little cheaper I think.

My issues I had in the past were with my fog lights tho, not headlights. I had gotten water in the housings and shorted the ballast. Look into the ground also, maybe might be a bad ground.

I've even had an issue with my morimoto ballast from The retrofit source, shorting out and melting the ground wire.

 

I tried the various kits was over the "hope & pray" method...

 

Once you find the one. Stick with it lol. But for real I try to find the ones with warranty and those that will stay with it.

 

my ebay digital no-brand ballasts have lasted for almost 6 years

those things outlasted two different suspension setups. lol
