Bought a used AllPro Apex rear bumper on eBay last week, (damn boredom eBay searching) showed up today and looks awesome. I might put it on the truck this weekend.

 

Please tell me its got the bedside protection plates and if not you should get them!

 

No, only wraps around as much as the stock bumper. For $250, I didn't care much, but will check if AllPro sells them.

 

I'm not saying I don't want to check it out but I would hate to go there and have it closed with a gate or something

 

I don't remember any gates at all up Salmon La Sac, in fact last winter I was up there and there were no road blocks/signs. They may put boulders across the road so you can't get back there? Plus last memorial day weekend a group tried going up Gallagher Head lake. That link says closed through june 15 but I was up there in February

On some they list closures, like Naches Pass Trail they mention the closure dates... I would check the "Directions" tab and see what FS roads you take to get to a particular trail, then check the status/conditions of those roads through the USFS website. I know the FS likes to close a lot of roads in the winter for snowmobiles, so they should be listed on their website. And if I remember right, I've found a list of trail closures on their site as well.

Hey guys, I just wanted to throw this out here. If anyone ever comes across any puppies for sale let me know. I'm looking at getting my first dog. I really really want a beagle, but anything medium sized that's actually useful and fun will suffice haha. I may also go for a super awesome golden retriever

I might be going with northwesttaco on saturday or I will go out the following saturday.

Im torn between exploring those roads north of Darrington or trying van epps.

Looking forward to roll out with you guys once my truck is less of a trail obstacle/hazard. Just waiting on new leafs and rear shocks from AllPro then it's go time.

TIP: If you're going to order from AllPro ask if your items are in stock, I didn't and these last 4 weeks have been dragging hard.

 

Van Epps will have snow and you won't be able to get to far. Not to many turn around spots either if I remember correctly but you could always make your own
