I like your build, thats basically the same build I'm looking to do. Can you provide a list? I'm probably going to fab front bars, sliders and back bars bumper. I was thinking of a 3" suspension lift with additional load lifters for towing. With the 3" lift I was hoping to fit 33's. Nice truck. :proposetoast:

I read online some companys don't recommend doing a body lift and a suspension lift? Right now I have a Ranger with a 3inch body lift, but next summer I am getting either a 05 or newer Taco if I can find something clean with low miles for a reasonable price, if not then I'm buying a new one  The first thing I want to do is lift it, but I don't do much off roading...I go in the mud once in a blue moon. I was going to get a tuff country 3inch body lift & 3 inch suspension just for the looks, and it's alot cheaper. Although people do say...."You you get what you pay for." DO you guys think this is a safe practice ?

I really wouldn't do a body lift at all. Go with a 3'' suspension, you'll be a whole lot better off that anything related to a body lift. ;)

I'd go with the OME kit, or Billy's set at 2.5'' for the lift. Stay away from spacer lifts, as they cause a harsh ride.

Yeah, thats prob what I will too. 6 inch is too costly for someone who doesn't go off road all too often...I heard some speak of a 4 inch fabtech suspension lift? I can't seem anywhere to price it though  If thats not too much $ I may get that :) I have a whole year to get my ideas together haha :D

3'' is way better u actually get more clearance with the 3 than the 6 because with the six u have to cut the stock crossmember and then it is replaced by a procomp or fabtech one if i was u i would go with the 3'' it is better overall

i would suggest a cross tire rotation. so with the tires they will have to dismount and remount the ones going to the front. that should solve your problem.... nice looking truck by the way. i have the same LIFT, TIRE, and WHEEL package that you do i just rolled over 8500 miles and the steering is starting to pull to the left, I need an alignment.

u also lose all your down travel on your suspension .. so how is that way better then keeping factory steering geometry?

I still can't really see how you loose ground clearance with a drop down bracket. I mean stock, the lower arms are attched to the cross section of the frame. When they do the bracket, they cut that section of frame out and add the drop down bracket, which drops down but your lower arms connect to the new bracket in the same manor they did when stock. I mean the drop bracket drops down how ever many inches, then your arms attach/bolt up to that.
