x4 scoring and snapping would prolly be the easiest and cleanest…
PS: since yours will have a curve, cut in 2 straight cuts and then lightly sand in the curved shape!

For the curve it would use a sawzall with a wood blade.:bananadead:

Just kidding.... It should work with the curve.

If you all had to deal with a local Toyota service department around here....would you go with Gateway in Toms River or Toyota World in Lakewood?

    Thanks...

I normally prefer to do my own maintenance, but the snow and free Toyota Care for 25k miles made me go....Chux, the TR dealer seemed good to go. Had me in and out as promised, 1 hour, I looked over things pretty well and looks like they did a legit service without leaving anything out.

But dammit, while I was perusing there was a 2015 DCSB TRD sport, in pyrite mica, that was calling out to me like a syren. I admit it, I like my ACLB, but have realized the DCSB is where it's at. This new one was even a manual trans. I think I could swap mine out for that new one and only lose a pittance of cash.....dammit....y'all talk me out of it.

Yea I blew threw my toyota care right quick stacking miles on the truck. Pyrite mica ftmfw  what do you have now? Off road or sport? You plan on wheeling/camping a lot or a little? I went 4 door to do the soccer mom thing eventually. I knew nothing when I first bought my truck but the more I learned the more I was glad I got the TRD off road over the sport.

I wouldn't think you could score and snap a curve. I was recently getting jigsaw blades at Home Depot and saw blades for cutting formica. They have no teeth but are instead covered with an abrasive so they don't chip. http://www.homedepot.com/p/RemGrit-...t-Jig-Saw-Blade-with-T-Shank-GJ12BL/205623965

I have just a plain Access Cab SR5. Been really happy with it, but I have DCSB envy after realizing I don't need all that bed space, but more cab space would be sweet. Plus putting a shell on the SB isn't a big deal, you can still reach almost anything in there...I don't really think I would use the e-locker or ATRAC as often as I'd like to think...chux what did you learn that made you dig the OR more than the sport?

Well I bought this thing in NC where I lived for a long time, thought I was moving to TX with it, and ended up here in NJ. Had my 5k service done in Lakewood, seemed OK, the TR dealer is a lot closer and I was happy with them as well. Although it was eery how much quieter and smoother the truck ran right after the 10k oil change today...really big difference.

Anyhow, thanks y'all for listening to this noob drivel on...I've taken to waving at Taco drivers and the ones that wave back I imagine might be on this thread...

Like you mentioned the locker and even A-trac, not that it would be used all the time but when you use it once to get out of a sticky situation once it's worth it.

My RTT is up for sale: $500 (funds are due directly to CVT)
CVT Mt. Shasta w/ Stargazer (something like skylights)
I've had it since August '14 and used it about 8 times.
The reason why it's being sold is because CVT is sending me a replacement.

-During shipping, the tent was dented on its outer aluminum shell (no structural compromise) and possibly one of the main hinges needs tweaking for it to open 100% flat.
-Upon setting it up for the 1st time, one of the ladder posts' rivets was damaged (it can easily be re-riveted).
-I also received the tent with the wrong cover, therefore some humidity got in and created a bit of mildew, which I cleaned as often as necessary… But, please note that CVT sent me the right cover and no water gets in anymore.

These really are minor things IMO, and the reason why I did not take care of them myself is because I've been expecting the replacement. Out of precaution, I did not want issues when it came to getting my replacement if said damages were not there anymore…. But, the guys at CVT are awesome and now my new RTT is on its way...
