ive been looking at a 92 yz125 local for 200 bucks.. might do what you did an put a top/bottom end in it and sell if for 1500 or something like that. i mean it doesnt run and could be as simple as a plug change/carb clean but knowing the bike is in good working order is always a good feeling.

Yeah I got my '01 rm125 for $350 but had no idea what was wrong with it. The chick said she thought she might have run the wrong gas but wasn't sure and it locked up on her. So I just did everything to be safe. Top end, bottom end, clutch, and ended up putting a new used cylinder on it too since there was a chip in the plating on the cylinder wall and one of the power valves was busted. Still into the bike less than a grand and it basically a whole new engine and runs like a raped ape :D

hell yea! i blew up my 125 a looooong time ago and had a nasty chip in the cylinder, needless to say with the new cylinder and piston, this bike as been FLAWLESS since.

edit: besides blowing a hole in the piston but i mean that was after holding it wide open for 3-4 minutes in 5th trying to keep up with rzr's/trucks lol.

I will have to get some pics of my first KX500. I have pics of that beast! I dont think I have any good ones of the new Monster. I also need to figure out how to put photos in a post lol.

All of you guys sound tiny. Granted I am taller and larger then the average bear! lol. But in my experience with my 2 500's they carry this big dude like I am not even there!

well ways to add photos to posts is to either send it to tacomaworld live, the post the embeded link here, or go into photobucket and do the same.

i mean im only 170 and it scoots pretty effing quick. i can see why bigger people would ride this bike. the power is endless haha.
