I invited my neighbor and his fiancee. He said they will ride his 4 wheeler if he gets it fixed in time. Other wise he said they might wheel with his avalanche or ride along with me. They are a maybe as of now, he'll give me a definite answer by feb 16th.

 

Trucks back in shape - just have to throw on the RTT and I'm good to go.

I still gotta get my truck back together. I just rebuilt my rear shocks and put a couple leafs back in. Gotta install the shocks and fuck with my pinion angle. Then I gotta figure out this fuel problem I'm having

 

I've actually managed to get it up on the roof by myself a couple of times.
140lbs. is a struggle though because it's so awkward...

I just have to....

Replace wheel bearing.
Rebuild my old icon coilover.
Possibly rebuild my rear shocks.
Figure out my drive line problem.
Fix my airline for my locker.
And then sit on my ass and wait for this weekend to come

 

I still have to replace carrier bearing, add another leaf to the rear, install 35s and chop chop some more

 

Haha I can just picture the awkwardness of you trying to lift that thing up there yourself. Haha and bring all the folks you want. It's gonna be an awesome time and the more folks we can pack around a bon fire, the better.

Fuel problem is trucks running rich. Seems to be a decent amount of fuel coming out the exhaust. It's super strong when I first crank the truck. Like, gets my high kinda strong (not that I like it ). But truck seems to run fine but it's running really rich so my power is kinda funky and my mpg seems to suck ass. Not too long ago I replaced spark plugs and then cleaned my maf sensor and ran some sea foam in my gas tank 2 days ago. I've only driven my truck like 20 miles in the past 2 months so I been kinda ignoring it but I need to try and figure it out

 

Your in injectors might be leaking. Let the truck sit for a few hours, then pull out one or all of your spark plugs (since you don't have that many) and smell them and look at them. If they smell like fuel and/or look wet, the injectors are leaking. That cause rough running and rich smelling exhaust on start up.

 

I'll check them when I get home then. Truck will have been sitting since 5 last night. Or is that too long? I've read all kinds of shit. Bad plugs, badly gapped plugs, bad cats, bad o2 sensor, dirty maf sensor, stuck open injectors, bad seals on injectors, gas tank and associated things, clogged or leaking evap system (there's like 20 things it could be with that), etc ......

all of these will give you a check engine light. If the MAF sensor is dirty/faulty, it may say that it doesn't see enough air or too much air and the engine comp has to adjust accordingly. In your case it may be "seeing too much air" and keep commanding the engine comp to keep adding fuel. this could or could not throw a CE light depending on additive and multiplicative values (what BMW calls air/fuel adjustments). check your plugs first. I have a code reader, so we'll hook it up and see if you have any codes that are not throwing a CE light.

 

I'd go with maf. They are so damn sensitive and last time at lbl I remember you saying your air filter got wet. I'd try there first

 

Yeah my ultragauge didn't read any codes and no cel. I guess ill check the plugs. I didn't gap them when I installed them but I've never done that before. Maybe I should start. Haha and it's easy as crap to pull them. They are just like a Honda motor. They sit right on top.

Yeah it got mud in it. I actually took my whole intake box off the truck and washed it out in the shower until I got all the mud out. Haha it was packed full. But I just cleaned the maf so besides getting a new one, I don't know what else to do about that.

 

If you used the plugs I gave you they should already be spot on...
