I plan to do an Rcd lift and now I'm working the rim/tire setup. I want a loud or loud-ish howl/hum tire that's not going to beat the truck to death like a bogger or mud grappler. I'm currently looking at the cooper stt's and Goodyear fierce.
    Something like those..

What is a good mud tire, that is loud or has s nice "hum" to it?

I know most people like to get tires that ARE NOT loud, but I do. So please if you have any suggestions from past experiences that would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I ran a set of the fierce attitudes. They were not nearly as loud as I thought they would be. Maxxis bighorns put out some noise. I just had a set of Kelly safari's installed and the are good with me. Loud but not overbearing.

maybe put a CD in your truck with a track that "simulates" tire humming and get a big old woofer. Are you wanting that noise for your pleasure or try and pick up the ladies?

Might I ask why you want "loud a$$ tires?" Hope you've got a loud ass radio, or don't care to listen to it at all.

Thanks Tom, that's the second time I've heard that about the fierce tires. I'll check out the bighorns.

I prefer the hum over a louder exhaust, I just like it.

Are you posting your bra for pleasure? Or are you trying to pick up chicks. Sandusky

I tried to make it clear in the original post that I like it. I know a lot of you don't and so I was letting you know that you didn't need to post questions askin "why?" though.

To answer your question, just get any set of tires and then get a poor alignment. They'll get loud. STTs aren't loud unless you make them wear like shit. Also, there isn't a loud tire that isn't gonna beat the truck to shit. High void space = loud ~ rough riding

Ha! If he's going to train wreck my thread, then I'm going to fire back. That's what forums are about right. Flaming and trolling people. Those are the best ways to get questions answered fast.

It's all in good fun. I'm just trying to get some tips.

OP, what do you use your truck for btw? I know this is irrelevant to you, but just for curiosity.

It's not irrelevant. It's a work truck. And again I prefaced my original post pretty well so It really is a waste of time to find round about ways to teach me that I don't need loud tires. Thanks for your concern. I have had a lifted taco in the past for the same use and again I enjoyed the hum of the swampers I had on it. Personal preference I guess. So if you have any tire recommendations that would be appreciated.

And everyone is putting bull shit answers because this forum isn't about flaming people, it's about doing constructive stuff to our vehicles based on what we use them for.
