The passenger door panel is pretty much done. Hopefully the whole truck will be done in the next couple of months.

I got it from my local dealer. Very solid feeling and has impressions in leather for fingers. I have also seen with red stitching

I paid $75 including tax, normally retails for almost $90 I think

Anyone ever done a switch panel in the A pillar? I know I've seen it on jeeps but wasn't sure anyone ever has done it on a tacoma.

It's not the same, just do a Google search for fluid film or you can buy it off Amazon. I have been using it for years on my trucks and even used it in the Navy. There is nothing that I know of that is like it.

Lots of bolt on chrome stuff
I just looked at their website. Does the stuff really work good? I see that the removal instructions are to just pressure wash it, which makes me think it would wear off the frame fairly fast.

No, I wouldnt do more than this, but mine is no where near as chopped as this. If you look at the picture, right above the "I" in "IF" there is a small bolt and the large up (up and left, in the picture) which I know is the actual mount for the cab. I would not go beyond this pictures, but I would like to go back nearly as far as they did. I feel like this would truly lead to NO problems with rubbing (most importantly, off road after the wheel flexes). I think im gonna go ahead and chop just about the same in the picture, then figure out how to box it in. Thanks for the feedback

You must reapply it yearly and don't pw your frame in the winter. I have seen this stuff protect bare carbon steel submerged in seawater for over a month not develop rust. It doesn't come off with normal driving or even driving through water.

Thanks for the info. It washing off with rain being thrown at it from the tires was my concern. I'll give it a try next winter! Sure would be nice to keep this frame in good shape for as long as the rest of the truck lasts. Mine is just starting to show a little surface rust.
