You do have to lift the motor a bit to install the TRD headers. That is probably the easiest part, two bolts and a floor jack.

In order to get the Y pipe or "crossover pipe" out you need to drop the Tranny.

Or you can do what I did and take a Sawzall to the Y pipe and call it a day.

It is a tight install and I wouldn't want to do it again, all in all about a 8 hour job including the time it took to get the flange welded onto the cat.

i been on this supercharger 2.2@8psi for 2 years now, the power difference is great on the hwy and towing and in the sand but its still not what i would call FAST.. as soon as this is no longer my DD it will get a proper turbo setup, the SC has its limits, and that limit of 250whp isn't enough for a 4500lb vehicle

Same basic shit everybody else had 5 years ago.

So, are you a 4x4 or a Pre-runner? Noticed your sidebar info stated Pre-runner but the mud flaps are 4x4..........not judging just wondering if you did a conversion or what not.

I have my supercharger with 20k miles and a brand new 7th injector kit I'm thinking of getting rid of

Job layoff is making me rethink priorities.

curb weight on a stock 4WD extra cab is around 3500.

URD now offers a 2.1" pulley in case you wanted to play with that first.

It is fun racing the 3rd gen 4Runner and 2nd gen Tacoma guys.

    This.

I wouldn't run a 2.1" on a daily driver. Plus I've read that you start pushing the S/C's limits with that size pulley.

Just mentioning that there were other options available before tearing everything apart and fabing in a turbo.

Finally got a few minutes to spray mine today. This kit from Fluid Film is great. Sprayer works great, fluid is even and stays put. It's very easy to control the over spray also. Now my beast will truly last a lifetime.

I paid 1500 for the SC and I bought the kit new from URD (still unopened). I changed the fluid when I got it and installed the supercharger and fired it up only one time!! before I back halved the truck for a 3 link and has been on hack stands ever since. I'll uninstall it if I get a for sure buyer

Integrated my front signals into the bumper. They were just tie-wraped to the bottom for the longest time and I was annoyed.
Kind of stole the idea from the older 4runners.
