Investigated the clunking noise I was hearing from the front end. Sounds like it's the drivers side wheel bearing. When I move the wheel side to side it clunks. Yippee!

Cut off my megaphone! Hopefully the drone will subside. I'll go for a test drive later. Other part of the problem could be the really shitty welds on the muffler itself. Granted it wasn't a muffler shop but I think he has his new guy try out welding for the first time.

From the looks of that weld you'd be better off using a guy named "JB" to weld.

Replaced my 7yr old original battery this A.M. in 7degF weather and howling winds. It had not yet failed but you could hear it struggling.

I decided not to temp fate although the Kramer in me wanted to see how far I could push it. :D

I replaced it with an Autocraft Gold group 24F from Advanced Auto Parts, 3yr replacement and used a $50 off code (WD54, online order, store pickup) which expires 1-31-15. Final price for the battery after returning core was $83.

    Specs.
    Battery Type:Lead Acid
    BCI Group Size:24F
    Cold Cranking Amps:700 amps
    Cranking Amps:875 amps
    Deep Cycle/Starting:
    Starting Height:8 11/16 in
    Length:10 15/16 in
    Maintenance Free:Yes
    Reserve Capacity:130 min
    Terminal Type:Top
    Terminal Voltage:12 v
    Weight:42 lbs
    Width:6 7/8 in

Wow that looks bad, if there are more holes like that I would go have them patched. It also looks like your exhaust system is corroding really bad.

Ill blast a can of high temp paint on there when its not -20 outside.
