Well, it happened. After over 170,000 miles, I have a rather significant oil leak. The ol' 3RZ-fe has succumbed to frigid temps I do believe. Does anyone have any good websites for finding out what engines will work with my manual tranny? If I'm going to replace it, I might as well get a bit more power. I'm not going diesel, as I just won't have the funds. Logically the 5vz is the first option, although the 4.0l in the 2nd gens is fairly decent.

It should. Lol. Right now I just shoved them in there. They haven't moved. Will finish tomorrow. Just tied the power for the corner to the new wire and put electrical tape around it. I will crimp then heat shrink them once I get my Rigids in. I plan to tie them into signals as well. I'll have the brightest turn signals around.

my reverse lights have been on the fritz and today they finally refuse to work, I looked up some info as to what it could be, there is no fuse related and all other lights are fine.

Seems its possibly a switch on the transmission that could be a cheap quick easy fix.

Any done that or have any more insight before I tackle it?

More than likely it is the reverse switch on the MT. Easy job. Took me 10 minutes.

yes sir. I keep a spreadsheet of all the parts I order and corresponding part numbers. Makes it easy when I have to order something again. I'm not that bad as I don't track how many times I've ordered a specific part. Reminds me, I need to order a bunch of drain and fill plug gaskets.

Let me know if you need the torque value. Can get that to you tomorrow. Should be around that of the fill and drain plugs but can't remember exact value.

Got it through Camelback for $28.07.

You might want to pull it and see if you can burp the spring-ball contact and get it to work again (if it be the problem).

It is on the passenger side, really easy to get to.

He's better than the parts people, he actually has the right part numbers.

Which reminds me I keep thinking I need to keep a log of party numbers and torque specs...
