I'm pretty sure that if someone waves cash in my face, I'm not capable of turning it down.

I need some local input on someplace good for dinner on Tuesday night down there. Will be in Pasadena. Does not have to be fancy but would like to hit up someplace that is not a chain. Needs to be kid friendly and seafood is a plus.

Not seafood, but I'd recommend Kings Biergarten.

Star Pizza in Houston is excellent and kid friendly. Also no seafood. Only good seafood I know of that isn't a chain is Lake Jackson Seafood but that's a LONG drive from Pasadena.

Damn good selection. That's tied for my wife's favorite restaurant with Giovanni's in Angleton.

Place was quiet and I am guessing that your mom was the one that helped me.

I didn't ask for ya cause I didn't want to be pushy lol.

I always see mustangs, lifted trucks, and a CTS-V at the ones in Clear Lake, League City, and Texas City locations.

Kemah is right down the street...

    All the following are non-fancy:
    T Bone Toms
Boondoggles (not really kid friendly at night though)
    Bakkhus Taverna
    Tookies
    La Brisa
    San Lorenzo
For the kiddos - anything on the boardwalk
Any of the Perry's is decent

    Fancy:
    Opus
eculent - can get uber expensive
Cullen's (I think this is actually in Pasadena)

Edit: Although a chain, if you are willing to drive further south there is Jimmy Changas, which has good food and a nice play area for kids outside, plus free ice cream (pretty much like Gringos although they have no play area that I know of).

    Yes,
CULLENS, 5 minutes from pasadena on 11500 SPACENTER BLVD. www.cullenshouston.com - kid friendly? yes. wallet friendly? not so much.
when you arrive, they will ask if you have reservations (say no) and they will also ask if you would like to eat on the resturant side (fine dining) or the bar side (regular dining). watch out each side has different menus. both sides are kid friendly. food and drinks are excellent. check out their web site. place is AWESOME
