That sucks, sorry to hear that! What were they after? I felt awful when some kids took money put of my center console, but I left my door unlocked and basically invited them in.

 

It's really simple, especially if you have an auxiliary fuse panel. I used a switch made for the hood props to interrupt the ground for the light strip when the hood is closed in order to turn the light off. The LED strip is a 36" flexible light with 3M adhesive on the back from auto zone. I just fished the wires up through the hole in the bottom corner of the hood and through the hood reinforcement framework. Hook the power up to the hot terminal in the fuse panel and put in a fuse. Voila!

 

They got all of my tools I had from my side job that I had locked in my camper top and my kenwood touch screen.

Know the feeling man. Had some junkies pry open the sliding back window and unlock the doors and get in. Took my iPod, gym bag, pioneer touch screen that I only had for 2 months, tried to take the factory jbl sub but it's built in,and my oakleys. Total worth of it all was about $600. Cops showed up took my statement looked inside the truck and found a baggy full of pills. The thieves took $600 worth of my stuff but dropped their baggy full of $2k worth of oxycontin. From here on out, anytime I get a new vehicle the first mod will always be an alarm system.
