    Tried out my hi-lift for the first time today. It didn't lower properly and I paid for it with a small bit of paint. I didn't read that it's a good idea to leave your door open when lifting on sliders until after I had it in the air and the damn thing wouldn't lower. I don't think I'll be able to return it since I threw a temper tantrum and threw the thing across the driveway and it slid a good 3' removing some paint.

    It wouldn't lower even after trying several troubleshooting methods that I found online. Works perfect without a load but all that's good for is a paperweight. Is there anyone round central AR that is familiar with how these things work and would be willing to help me troubleshoot?

    They're a pain in the ass, especially when they aren't new. They require a little manipulating and messing with sometimes. I know I've had to toss mine down in the dirt a few times to get it to work lol.

    I played around with mine some this past Sunday and of the 20 times I jacked it up, it dropped the load probably 18 times on the way back down. I'm going to video it and try to see if hi-lift will work with me. I understand these things can be temperamental but that's a serious safety issue.

    I went the local off road park here in Northern California. I hadn't been there in a couple years. Compared to the Hot Springs Park this place kinda sucks.
