    Looks awesome.

IMHumbleO I'd remove the bug shield. It takes away from the look/lines of the bumper.

Did you just cut the sides and seal it?

I'm looking at it on my phone so it looked sealed, I def like the idea. I use the hooks in the corners a lot and getting to it with the liner in the way is rough sometimes and I even cut a large chunk out under the tool box.

Ugh, bought a powered underseat sub and what I thought would be an easy install is really not. Power from + battery to sub, RCA from radio to sub, ground to bare metal. Shouldn't that be what gets it running? Its saying there should be another cord from my headunit to the sub (when using the rca cables), a wired remote turn on? My radio doesn't have that. can I do something else or will I have to do the hi input splice from speakers?

Do you have an aftermarket radio? If so then you should have a wire for the remote turn-on.

If not you could run it off any wire that gets power when you turn the truck on. The purpose of the wire is so that it only turns the amp/sub on when the radio is on.

Remote turn on is just a voltage. The headunit sends it out when the headunit turns on so that the amp turns on. If you don't wire that up the amp will never turn on.

Ah I see. Ya I do. I have a Pioneer fh-x700bt and where the remote turn on is, its just a hole for an adaptor.

I guess I can try to connect wires into it

That's what my problem is haha I have never been good at wires and this is my first install. My last car was professional installed and that was too much money for what its worth.

Alright now I have a better understanding of how it works

That diagram doesn't show one. It should be one of the wires on the harness connected to #1 in that diagram.

Ohhh! I thought it was #8. Okay! So one of the wires on the harness that I bought will be it. Thanks!

It's very simple. Just need a 20ga wire from the headunit.

No it is not part of 1. It is labeled correctly
