So last night I had a spur of the moment, screw lets go camping at sycamore! Me and my buddy with a lifted landcruiser ( hes locked ) headed out there to do a little wet camping... Well that was the first time ive been in sycamore after raining good and holy shit there was a huge creek going through there! We had to head back and ended up crossing the creek at 3 different spots and I was amazing how well my truck went right through these decent sized creeks considering my truck is stock... So after a few miles deep, there was a huge crossing and my buddy went first.. and got stuck so we had to bust a mission to rescue the cruiser with a short autozone tow strap and again surprised at how well my truck just pulled the cruiser that was buried under the water up to the doors, after that we found camp closer in.

About 2 hours after we set up camp some chick comes running up saying theyre stuck, hopped in the truck and went over to see... sure as shit they are stuck in almost the same spot.... and its a big ass chevy 2500 HD lifted on 35s... Little Toyota that could yanked him out but in the process after the 3rd good yank ( snatchstrap) I ripped his front bumper completely from his frame ( ripped the grade 8 bolts through the frame) and we had to fish his bumper out of the creek... So that was highlarious and again surprised my truck pulled him out. That was interesting and made me proud of how well my truck performed. We went on, camped through the night.... Next morning we woke up and packed up, headed out to go shooting ( had to hit up widowmaker first though ) and on the way there a big ass ford f150 lifted on 35s again STUCK in the creek so yet again, little Toyota that could, hooked up and pulled this big ass truck out with ease haha so that was pretty freakin sweet... It was my first time recovering someone and I did it 3 times last night so Im stoked

My buddy had his go pro running and unfortunately I didn't get any other pics than these so I gotta wait for him to process the vids and pics and get them to me but all I got were these poor quality pics. Ill post em up of me pulling them "big, bad" lifted mall crawlers out lol

ya i got stuck out there one time in sycamore creek too. lol got towed out by another tacoma four runner. when we get all this rain, those dry creeks fill up fast. lots of mud once its closer to drying up and great fun. and thats epic your truck pulled out that chevy. go toyotas and like you said even stock i am too surprised how mine performs off road up and down hills, donuts, in mud, pre run or whatever. glad it seemed to work out well.

funny shit about having to fish the bumper out of the creek. lol

Currently at my parents house in San Diego and I have a class at 3:00 pm tomorrow. Gotta wake up and drive 6 hours to make it to my class on time.
