Yea I had it for a day.. I rarely rarely get sick, haven't been for years. Then it hit me and I had a really bad fever for an hour, then felt fine except my head felt 25 lbs and stuffy.

Becareful after about a week, I leaned my head down and what I thought was a bloody nose (felt just like one) but was yellow liquid, I freaked out and looked it up. It's the sinuses draining after the infection. Only comes out the left nostril and you can actually bend over and tilt your head to the right and it comes out. If that lasts for more than 4 days call the doc up, only happend 3 times in a day but still really weird and gross... Well just thought I'd share my experience.

Like I said, I never get sick, my imune system is crazy strong, but not strong enough for this crap goin around.

    You have the Swine Flu??!!

Oh NO!! Don't get on TW! You're going to infect all of us!!! I'm going to Home Depot to buy a respirator now!!! ....... Oh wait, that was just the media hype.

I think it's pretty funny how humans have been around for thousands of years, faced plagues without the medical technologies we have now and everybody and their moms were scared turdless with the swine flu.. It's a flu!

Anyways, hope u get better man.

My wife hates the term "Swine Flu" (she's a nurse). It is H1N1, just like they name the other strains. Hope you feel better.

I agree 100%!!! the whole media has swirled this thing into something ridiculous, we have everyone and their brother coming in to the ER because they think they are going to die because they have swine flu. Its annoying, it's no different or more dangerous than any other run of the mill strain of flu. The only difference is that it jumped species. Its crazy how everyone is so scared of it.

I went on a call about a month ago where the chick said she was tested for swine flu but hadn't had the results yet. I still took her bp and vitals, but man was I worried. My wife was about 30 wks prego when that happened. The risk of exposure, coupled with a pregnant wife scared me shitless for a few days.
